Elaine Duncan

Lo de Marco, Mexico

I always loved fabrics and yarns.

Moved to the Parksville, BC area in 1974. I taught weaving classes and formed the Nanoose Weavers Guild. I have been fortunate to study with some of the great tapestry masters and teachers.

In 2013 another move brought me to Lo de Marco and I continue to weave using inspiration from this wonderful and beautifully coloured place.

I weave mostly with fine yarns, wool and silk naturally dyed, as well as cotton embroidery floss.
