I love the challenge of working within the constraints of warp and weft, of having to build an image from the bottom to top where the only way to make a change is to unweave what I’ve already done. I enjoy exploring different styles and techniques and the blending of colours to create the image I have in my mind. My inspiration comes from many sources, often photos I have taken or sketches I’ve made but times they start as simple lines on paper that develop a life of their own and tell me what is to be woven.
